Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). When you open a page, the server processes the usual technical data needed to deliver it: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type, and referring URL. Cloudflare stores these data in server logs to run the site securely and to fix errors.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (running and securing the website). Logs are kept only as long as Cloudflare’s standard retention for this service requires.

Orders and payment

Checkout is provided by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC and its payment partners). Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record for the purchase. If you buy the guide, Lemon Squeezy processes your name, email address, billing details, and payment data in order to take payment, send the download, issue the receipt, and handle tax.

Payment can run through card, PayPal, or another method Lemon Squeezy offers at checkout. This site itself does not receive or store your card or PayPal data. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract).

Lemon Squeezy’s own privacy notice applies to the checkout: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.

Cookies, tracking, and fonts

This page does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not load external fonts such as Google Fonts. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, and a copy of your data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Baden-Württemberg that is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (LfDI).

Requests about an order are often faster if you also contact Lemon Squeezy, because they hold the payment record. Requests about this website can be sent to the email above.
